Yes, speed is important to get somewhere. The problem: if your goal is to be fast, you might end up running into the wrong direction.
Purpose is more important!
If you focus on purpose, you’ll get speed as a byproduct.
If you have actual purpose, you want to move fast (=purposefully). It’s a natural consequence, because the aspiration you’re working towards is so important to you that you grow impatient and want to make progress.
There is a misconception though with „purpose“: Purpose without speed is just a fancy branding not actual purpose. |
