Hi shaper ✌️
What if we set
"Hilariously Aggressive Deadlines"
when we have just an idea, starting something new, or adding a different service?
The first benefit is that we force ourselves to spend deliberate time to figure out what is actually essential. Peter Thiel famously said: „What do we need to do so that we can reach our 10 year goal in the next 6 months?“
The aim is to focus on the right action, not do it half-heartedly or even worse, lower the bar.
Caveat: This will be harmful if done the wrong way. The wrong way is focusing on the results. It is of the utmost importance that you translate your goals into activities that you can do and have control over. It is not a numbers game, it’s an activity game. What is the right activity to spend your time on? With the hilariously aggressive deadline your time is the limiting factor. |
